Charlotte Bamber

Neurological Physiotherapist

Charlotte Bamber graduated with a BSc(Hons) in Physiotherapy from the University of Liverpool in 2007 and worked for a number of years at the Royal Liverpool & Broadgreen University Hospitals NHS Trust, gaining extensive experience in a variety of areas, including musculoskeletal therapy, orthopaedics, respiratory care and neurological rehabilitation.

In order to further pursue her passion for neurological rehabilitation, Charlotte completed her Basic Bobath Course in 2013.

Charlotte gained significant experience working in private practice in the North West of England, prior to moving to North Yorkshire. She has experience in treating a wide range of neurological conditions such as Stroke, Parkinson’s Disease, Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and Spinal Cord Injuries, and now specialises in rehabilitation for Acquired and Traumatic Brain Injury.

Charlotte uses a variety of treatment approaches to achieve patients’ goals, including hands-on therapy, functional exercise programmes and where appropriate Functional Electrical Stimulation (FES) for Dropped Foot. Charlotte also works as the treating Physiotherapist for a number of medico-legal clients providing therapy reports and recommendations as required.

Charlotte is based at our MOTIONrehab® Leeds, MOTIONrehab® Harrogate and MOTIONrehab® York clinics.

She also provides home visit appointments in the York, Harrogate, Thirsk and Northallerton areas..
